Summer of 2021, I was commissioned by University Productions at The University of Michigan to design promotional materials celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Power Center Theater. Working closely with staff, I created a portfolio of silhouettes to capture the variety of acts the performing arts center had hosted for half a century. I researched the history of the iconic brutalist architecture to design and paint an 8x16ft banner that hung in the lobby during the 50th season. The work was used on street banners across downtown Ann Arbor and was later published in reading materials about the anniversary.
